The Faustian Bargain

The Faustian Bargain is also known as a Deal with the Devil or more popularly as selling your soul.  The concept has been around for a thousand years but the phrase was coined by the English playwright Christopher Marlowe for his play, The Tragical History of the Life and Death of Doctor Faustus.  This may sound cynical but the more things change the more they seem to stay the same.
