Palo Alto Homeless

“You’re looking at a 48 year old man who’s homeless. I’m a graduate of Texas A&M. I spent 15 years working as a probation officer. But I had a messy divorce and my ex took everything. I also had a problem with alcoholism and a few other isms but I’m in treatment now. Last night-for the first time ever-I slept outside.”

“At least it’s not cold here like it is on the east coast.”

“I wasn’t cold but I was afraid. I was very much afraid.”
