Mountain Top Paifang
This Paifang is the focal point of a vast and beautiful complex of mountain top monuments. It’s located on a lonely ridge line that commands spectacular views of the Silicon Valley to the southeast and the vast Pacific Ocean to the west. If you decide to visit chances are you’ll find the place deserted and for good reason. Not counting the Addams Family and the South Park Goth Kids who wants to visit a necropolis? But I’ll say this for it, I can’t imagine a better location for a Martial Arts film. Photographed at Skylawn Memorial Park.
