Haunted House of Mt. Hamilton

In truth this abandoned house is not said to be haunted.  But that’s not how I feel about it.  It’s located only a few hundred feet from the mighty Shane Telescope, the instrument that pioneered adaptive optics.   I’ve spent nights stationed outside the dome as an aircraft safety spotter making sure that the astronomers were aware of any airplane that might pass too close to laser guide star for safety.  On those nights I’d often find myself nervously glancing at the old house.  It looked haunted to me.
