This dilapidated residence recently sold for just north of two and a half million dollars.   It isn’t even in Old Palo Alto which is considered to be the “good” part of town.  Unbelievable!  The pressure on Palo Alto High School students must be crushing.  How many of them will be able to afford a house in the town in which they grew up?
