Thanksgiving Day 2016
I stopped by the Mission in Carmel-By-the-Sea today but the basilica was closed and so I was unable to enter and light a candle. Instead I whipped out my trusty 15 year old Zippo lighter with the NASA emblem and lit this flame to give thanks for the year past and in aspiration for a wonderful year to come. If you are reading these words please accept my very best wishes for a happy and safe Thanksgiving day. May it be filled with friends, family and fun.
