STAR WARS Wildstyle Graffiti

This is a beautiful example of the distinct form of Graffiti known as Wildstyle.  All the key elements are present.   You’ll notice the complexity of the interwoven and overlapping lettering as well as they layering of color.  You’ll also notice the other decorative embellishments such as arrows and spikes.  The silhouette of the Golden Gate Bridge just above Yoda gives the work a local flavor which to me is the icing on the cake. Some people will consider it as nothing more than Street Art, and perhaps they’re correct.  But I get more enjoyment form this than I would from a Jackson Pollock or a Mark Rothko.  And hey, who doesn’t love Star Wars?
