Stanford University Wacky Walk 2015

So often school graduations seem to be exercises in self-congratulates.  There is boasting about world class academic standards and illustrious graduates.  There are statements about the desirability of attending the school that hosts the event and how very difficult it is to gain admittance.   I see the Wacky Walk as an anti-elitist statement.  It’s a way of saying we’re happy to be here but we don’t take ourselves too seriously or consider ourselves to be too important.
