RoboCop has Arrived
Robocop has arrived in the Silicon Valley. Apparently this odd looking device is a “Security Robot”. I find the idea of being monitored by robots offensive. I saw this specimen rolling about on patrol at the Stanford Shopping Center. Normally I’m not one to make trouble but memories of HAL 9000 have left me deeply suspicious of such things. I stood in its path and berated it with a severe tongue lashing. I called it an ugly and stupid rolling trashcan. At first it moved towards me aggressively, but then it stopped. After a moment it went around me. It’s important that we not be intimidated by mechanical cops.
