“Forgive if this sounds offensive but I’m interested in your views on blood transfusions. If your child needed a transfusions of whole blood would you allow it?”
“The bible is very clear on the matter. Blood transfusions are not allowed. I’d instruct the doctor to use some other treatment. If he was unwilling to do so I’d have my child transferred to another hospital.”
“What if the doctor said that your child would die with out a transfusion?”
“You’re an adult. You know that doctors can’t say with any certainty who will live and who will die. A doctor who says a transfusion is required to save a live is being dishonest.
