1957 de Havilland Beaver

I happened to notice this aircraft as I was driving past Sausalito on my way to San Anselmo and I just had to stop to take a picture.  It’s a 1957 de Havilland Beaver on floats.  Not as streamlined as a business jet, I suppose to the untrained eye it must look awfully old and frumpy.  But to me it’s beautiful, an aircraft I’d enjoy flying more than just about any other.
